The Audi Group is among the world’s leading producers of premium cars. Their name stands for sporty vehicles, high build quality and progressive design – for “Vorsprung durch Technik.” Keen to let the technology do the talking in their futuristic Audi Spheres installation in Denmark, Audi needed something that would create a talking point as part of their installation in front of the Danish Parliament buildings, in the heart of Copenhagen. Blackspace and Schmidhube, working with design specialists Kollision and AV experts Creative Technology, were tasked with demonstrating how Audi is shaping tomorrow’s technology.

Creating an extension of the Audi Digital Showroom concept, the Audi Spheres installation showcased innovation through Audi technology, whilst also highlighting their brand in a truly engaging way. Featuring a range of interactive and futuristic creative technology including augmented reality, video walls and concept cars, visitors were met with a PufferTouch display mapped with vibrant interactive constellations.

The PufferTouch, the world’s leading touch-enabled spherical display, delivered a unique presence. As the centrepiece of a digital environment it enticed guests to approach, engage with core messages and ultimately shape the content of their environment.

Using spherical displays is a creative and exciting way to enhance engagement and generate sales opportunities. With customers in full control and able to experience personalised, tailored content, they are drawn closer than ever to the brand story. Audi also won a top award at the prestigious Cannes Lions Awards.
